Halle Bailey, who will play Ariel in the subsequent live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, has now shared her thoughts on why she concealed her pregnancy for such a long time. “It was important to me to keep this special time in my life private,” Bailey stated. “I’m a very private person, and I wanted to enjoy this experience with my family and friends without the pressure of the public eye.”
